Garden Party

This weeks Shabby Tea Room challenge is to make a card or project inspired by the colors in the photo below and to include dimensional flower(s). I love this challenge! I have a white picket fence around my yard with lots of flowers and roses so I felt right at home:)

I made a 6 x 6 card using a tag from Prima (I love these tags, so gorgeous!), Kaisercraft paper (green and white polka dot), Graphic 45 paper (roses), and a Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

The mulberry flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used Prima pearl bling.

The ribbon is hand dyed seam binding and the little tag from Making Memories says 'wish'

I cut out the fence using my Cricut, painted it, and then sanded it for a distressed look. I added spanish moss and more Wild Orchid flowers.

Beautifully Shaped

This weeks Shabby Tea Room challenge is to make a shaped card or project using the colors from the photo below.

I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities teacup die cut to make this easel card. I put lace on the teacup with hand dyed seam binding, a white shabby button and pink roses.

I used the string from a tea bag and a mini stapler to make a tag that says 'best wishes'. The teacup sits on a white doily with pink roses.

Tea Time Album

Here's a look at my latest chipboard album. It is a shabby tea themed album. I just love the Websters Pages papers. I am a sucker for anything with pink roses!

Spring is Love

This weeks Shabby Tea Room challenge was to create a card or project inspired by the photo below and to include a heart, flowers, and polka dots.

I made an easel card using Princess Promenade from Imaginisce (polka dots), and Vintage Roses from Hot of the Press. I used a heart doily with a painted chipboard butterfly.

I used seam binding for the bow and little pearl bling at the bottom of the card.

The rose note card and the title 'sweet' are from iralamijashop from Etsy.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used Fanciful Flourish from Cheery Lynn Designs. I love this die!!! It's my new fav.
