This paper bag pocket gift set was made using Fancy Pants Winterland paper collection. This is my favorite winter paper! I love the pale pinks and blues. It's so shabby! The paper bag pocket holds a double sided tag- one side says 'Let it Snow' and the other is blank for a message. It also has a gift card holder. The tags I used came with the paper collection. I used pink and blue flowers and white leaves that have been covered in glitter. It makes them look so snowy! I added a hand dyed seam binding bow with a glittered snowflake button and a glittered pink button with pink baker's twine. Gluing glitter on buttons is my newest addiction! My favorite glitter is Art Institute because it is so fine and sparkly. You can find it on ebay. This paper bag pocket gift set makes a great gift for any occassion.
Please see my ebay auction for more pictures. The auction ends 12/14/12.

Shabby Autumn
This weeks challenge in the Shabby Tea Room was to create a project that is inspired by the photo, include a pumpkin and to make it shabby.
I used used weathered wood looking paper (not sure who makes it- I've had it forever!), the leaf paper is Imaginisce, and I used 2 different kinds of whit lace. I also used a Martha Stewart punch doily trim punch and a maple leaf punch for the white leag garland. The pumpkin was cut from chipboard, painted and sanded. I didn't have any white leaves so I painted some green ones that I had. I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities for the background of the AUTUMN sticker. I added some buttons, seam binding, flowers, and tan pearl bling.
Thanks for taking a peek:)

Bloom Where You're Planted
Here's my latest paper bag album available on ebay. I had so much fun making this paper bag album! A nice change from my usual chipboard album. The colors of this paper collection are GORGEOUS! It is DCWV Spring Fling. I used lots of lace and fabric flowers. There are lots of tags for photos and journaling.

The White Challenge
Week #133
This weeks Shabby Tea Room Challenge is to create a card or project inspired by the photo and to use white plus only one additional color.
I created a paper bag album using Bo Bunny's Little Miss Marie paper (gorgeous! I need to hoard more of this paper!) I used a white metal frame to frame a beautiful shabby rose. I embellished the frame with white roses and a shabby key. I also used a Martha Stewart punch and some white lace for the edge. There is white seam binding tied to the book rings and a hanging crystal charm. The lace, metal, and crystals were inspiration from the photo. Thanks for taking a peek!

Sweet Memories
I made this 5 x 5 mini album using Bazzill's Avalon collection. I LOVE this paper! It was so fun to work with. I cut the chipboard and paper out on my Cricut. There are 10 pages including the front and back covers. I just started getting into buttons and used quite a few on this album. There are 9 spots for photos. Thanks for looking!

Labor of Love
Week #130
This weeks Shabby Tea Room challenge was to create a project using colors from the inspiration photo, and to include a banner.
I used Echo Park's Fanciful Floral for the background paper and Picket Fence for the banner flags. I painted chipboard letters and sanded the edges for a shabby look. The bows are made out of seam binding and are embellished with blue flower buttons. I used lace trim at the bottom and a painted chipboard bird with a rose and letter beads.

Summer Cottage
Week #129
This weeks Shabby Tea Room challenge was to create a project using colors from the inspiration photo, and to include distressing/shabby elements plus a title/sentiment.
I created a shabby card and pillow box using Bazzill Basics Vintage Marketplace. If you haven't seen this paper yet take a peek at scrapbook.com This is a must have shabby paper collection! I used Hug Snug seam binding that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist and used a beautiful blue button from Vintage Marketplace. All of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the bird tag is from Iralamija's Shop , and the white flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs. These are my new favorite die cuts. They cut so clean. I just got the gate and picket fence dies and can't wait to use them! I also used Spellbinders beaded ovals, Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Tea Dye, lace and bling. And of course I always use Fabri Tac glue for all of my paper crafts. It does not wrinkle the paper, has a little movement to get the paper just right, and stays put!
